How do I create a layby purchase?
- To create a layby purchase add your items to cart
- Upon check out please select “layby” as your payment option
- Once you have checked out with “layby” one of our friendly team members will contact you for payment of the 10% deposit and guide you through the layby process
Do you perform credit checks?
- No. We do not perform credit checks or require any application forms to be filled out by you.
What are the minimum monthly payments?
- The minimum monthly payments will be set out in the agreement. This amount will be set as the balance due (after the initial 10% deposit) split evenly over 6 monthly instalment payments.
What happens if I can’t make the minimum monthly payment I nominated?
- We understand that unexpected expenses arise and it may not be possible to pay the amount you nominated during a particular month. Where this may occur our friendly team will assist you and your layby payments can be adjusted accordingly.
Can I choose to pay the layby off early?
- Yes, of course you can make any additional payments
Our layby terms and conditions are:

A minimum transaction of $250 and a minimum deposit of 10% of the layby is required. The monthly minimum payment will be set out in the agreement. This amount will be set as the balance due (after the initial 10% deposit) split evenly over 6 monthly instalment payments. For example: If you lay-by a product valued at $500, your initial payment will be $50 followed by 6 x monthly instalment payments of $75 to complete the balance of $450.

Your layby is to be paid in full by the due date. No later than 6 months from date of the first instalment payment date. For example: If you layby a purchase on June 1st, your first of 6 x monthly instalments payments will commence on July 1st and will be due for completion by December 1st.

A monthly payment is required.

If this layby is cancelled by you, all monies paid except a cancellation fee of 25% will be refunded as a store credit only to be used within 12 months of the cancellation date.

If your layby is not paid in full by the completion date, we will cancel the layby and retain an amount of 25% to cover re-stocking the product & administration costs and the monies paid less the 25% will be held as a store credit for a period of 12 months of the cancellation date.

Individual items may not be separated from a layby until final payment is received for entire layby.

You may separate individual items upon purchase to create laybys as long as they meet the above conditions.

No layby available on clearance products.
- A Friendly personal account manager will support you through your layby process from start to finish including assisting with payment instalment reminders and receipt's.
Please note: The item or items purchased on layby will not be reserved until at least 50% of the layby amount is paid to us. If the item or items are not in stock when this occurs, you will be notified by us and a back order will be held until the product or products return to stock. Cancellation of layby for a full refund based on unavailable stock is strictly prohibited unless the item or items have been discontinued by the supplier at that point of the agreement.
